Homicide Investigation in Devonshire Area NR26132cm

Northridge: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division, Valley Section is currently investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of 28-year-old Pedro Devora in the 19100 block of Bryant Street in Northridge, California.

On Sunday, June 28, 2026, around 4:30 a.m., Devonshire Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon Shots Fired” in the 19100 block of Bryant Street. When the officers arrived, they discovered the victim in the rear alley of his apartment suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and, despite life-saving efforts, pronounced the victim deceased at scene.

A fight involving multiple individuals occurred shortly before the shooting. Detectives are working to identify the suspect, or suspects, responsible for the shooting death of Pedro Devora.
