Homicide Suspect Sought in San Pedro NR23779ti

San Pedro: Los Angeles Police Department’s South Bureau Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for the shooting death of a man.

On December 10, 2023, around 12 a.m., Harbor Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a “shooting” near the 1100 block of South Palos Verde Street.

When officers arrived to the area of the call, they discovered two victims had sustained gunshot wounds.  The first victim, a male Hispanic approximately 40-years-old, had already been pronounced deceased by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.  The second victim, a female Hispanic, approximately 45-years-old, was transported to a local hospital and is currently listed in stable condition.

In addition, responding officers discovered a third victim, a male White, approximately 50-years-old, had also been struck by gunfire and transported to a local area hospital by private vehicle prior to officers arrival where he received medical treatment and listed in stable condition.

The identity of the deceased victim is being withheld and will be released by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
