"Homicide Victim Found On Sidewalk In Hollywood"

Hollywood – On October 8, 2000, at approximately 6:30 am, Los Angeles Police Department Officers of Hollywood Division, responded to a radio call of a possible murder in the 1700 block of North Garfield Place. The Officers discovered the body of a 19 year old female Hispanic lying on the sidewalk. The victim had sustained numerous gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by Rescue Ambulance personnel.

The victim has been identified as Brenda Kazimir, a 19 year old resident of Hollywood.

The motive has not been established and there is no weapon or suspect information available.
