Human Trafficking Conviction NA15129lp

April 16, 2015

Los Angeles: Los Angeles
Police Department, Human Trafficking Unit, in partnership with the
Federal Bureau of Investigation, Innocence Lost Task Force,
concluded a five month human trafficking investigation that
resulted in a felony state charge conviction.

In late February of 2015, Christopher Jerome Busche,
34-years-old, pled guilty to three counts of Human Trafficking of a
Minor. The ages of the victims ranged from 15 to 18 years of
age.

During the five month investigation, detectives utilized
investigative resources which led them to believe that the
defendant may have lured other victims into commercial sexual
exploitation. Busche may have had contact with other victims in Los
Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
