WHY: On September 10, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Valley Traffic Division and certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will give free car seat inspections and provide education to parents and caregivers. This event is to raise awareness for National Child Passenger Safety Week (September 18-24) and to stress the importance of the correct installation of car seats. Technicians will provide tips on choosing the right seat for your child and will show how to install them correctly.

Car seats, booster seats and seat belts are often used incorrectly. In 2014 every 33 seconds there was one child under 13 years of age involved in a car crash.

Car seat check-up event is from 8:00 am-12:00 pm. (By appointment only 818-994-2006)
