Korean Elderly Woman Missing

UPDATE: Kye Soon Kim was located in the city of Gardena on June 3, 2007 at around 7:00 p.m. She was unharmed and reunited with her family. It is not clear how Kim had arrived in Gardena.

Los Angeles: An elderly Korean woman is missing from her board and care home located at Manhattan Place and Pico Boulevard.

On June 3, 2007, at about 6:30 AM, Kye Soon Kim, 82, left her board and care home located at 1423 South Manhattan Place in Koreatown.

Ms. Kim is 5 feet tall, 130-140 lbs. She is wearing a white cap, white shirt, brown vest, brown pants, and uses a walking cane. Ms. Kim is suffering from dementia, brought on by Alzheimer’s, and is often disoriented. Ms. Kim does not have any identification.
