Representatives from the Board of Commissioners
Police Department Command Staff and their special guests

Why:
Graduating officers have completed 1,035 hours of training over the course of 32 weeks. There are 40 males and 3 females in the graduating class. The ethnic breakdown of the class is 13 Caucasians, 3 African Americans, 10 Hispanics, 1 Chinese, 1 Vietnamese, 1 Korean, 1 Japanese, 4 Filipinos, and 4 American Indian.

Additionally, 2 male lateral officers, one Caucasian, one Hispanic will graduate with the regular recruit class. These officers are experienced peace officers who have joined the LAPD after serving with other California law enforcement agencies.

Chief McDonnell will inspect the graduating class.
