LAPD Academy Graduates 53 new Police Officers

LAPD Graduation of 53 Police Officers

WHY:
Graduating officers have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.  There are 46 males and 7 females in the graduating class.

The ethnic breakdown of the class is 13 Caucasians, 24 Hispanics, 3 African American, 1 Vietnamese, 1 Japanese, 1 Filipino, and 1 Korean.

In addition, 1 General Services Department, and 1 Los Angeles World Airport Officers will be graduating.
