WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 30 police officers, with 25 males and five females.  The ethnic breakdown of the graduates is as follows: 13 Caucasians, 12 Hispanics, three African Americans and two Asians.  Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
