WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 32 police officers, with 29 males and 3 females.  The ethnic breakdown of the graduates is as follows: 7 Caucasians, 19 Hispanics, two Asians, two African Americans, one American Indian and one Filipino.  Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
