WHY:   
The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 26 police officers, with 19 males and seven females.  The ethnic breakdown of the class is as follows: 9 Caucasians, 11 Hispanics, three African American, and three Asians (two of which are Korean).  Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
