To extend an invitation to all local kids of all ages to attend this free charity baseball game and clinic.  Following a friendly but rivalry baseball game against the Los Angeles Sheriff’s baseball team, officers will give instructions on batting, hitting, catching, fielding, throwing, running and team work.  They will also have contests, sports drinks, water (Provided by Coca Cola), snacks and giveaways (including Dodger tickets and more).  Come join LA’s Finest as they build self-esteem, confidence and teach kids to be winners on and off the field! There is no need to register.  Just show up and play ball!

The LAPD Baseball Team is made up of 25 sworn Los Angeles Police Officers.  They have been playing competitive charity baseball for over 126 years.  They play local and travel throughout the United States to play in Police and Fire Department baseball tournaments.  They host free youth baseball clinics and community events to help bring law enforcement, youth, and local communities together through America’s favorite past time.  The LAPD’s baseball team promotes healthy lifestyles, physical fitness and team work amongst our youth while helping create gang, drug and crime free communities.

If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact LAPD Baseball Team Manager, Officer Michael J. Scott at 818-224-0317 or email
