The LAPD will host this local forum for bicycle officers from all over southern California.

It will begin with an inspection of LAPD bike officers, followed by remarks by Chief Bratton and a short news conference. Chief Bratton will then accompany the estimated 250 LAPD officers on a pride ride from the police academy to Parker Center and back.

Upon their return, bike officers from over a dozen local police departments will have assembled at Dodger Stadium to compete in an obstacle course, designed to test the officers’ riding ability. Winners of the competition will be honored at the end of the day.
