WHY: The UK’s West Midlands Police Force Boxing team will be visiting to tour the City of Los Angeles and collaborate with Los Angeles Police Officers. Their agency will build relationships with LAPD Officers, staff and community members.

In addition, both teams will be putting together a competitive boxing show to fundraise for the Officer Down Foundation with the Los Angeles Police Protective League. For the first time ever, a female Los Angeles Police Officer Fonseca – LAPD Foothill Gangs, will be headlining this show. Officer Fonseca will be colliding against Clare Hankinson from the West Midlands Police Force.

Both law enforcement agencies are pleased to show the media and members of our communities that law enforcement agencies are willing to travel across the pond to do a lot more than just respond to calls for service.
