WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department, Commercial Crimes Division, TBTF, would like to announce the completion of a year-long  investigation into the burglary of commercial railroad cargo containers on tracks running through the City of Los Angeles.  This operation resulted in the apprehension of 22 suspects with the cooperation of the Union Pacific Railroad Police, Burling Northern & Santa Fe Railroad Police (BNSF), surrounding law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, and the Los  Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
