To educate residents in Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights and El Sereno about the most targeted vehicles stolen and broken into in that area. The most popular models are 1990s’ models of the Honda Accord, Honda Civic, Toyota Camry and Acura Integra.
These vehicles are targeted for parts, as well as for transportation by thieves not interested in utilizing public transportation. Hollenbeck personnel will be handing out steering wheel security devices, while supplies last, to registered owners of these vehicles who live within the Hollenbeck Area.
