VISUALS: There will be demonstrations on safe and unsafe costumes, including homemade costumes which are not fire retardant, tips on how to choose safe candy and the dangers of some Halloween decorations, traffic safety, personal protection for safe Trick or Treating, fireproof costumes, use of flashlights, pet protection, masks versus face painting, candy inspection and other options to enjoy the holiday including neighborhood celebrations and activities. Safe Moves will decorate their “mini city” with Halloween decorated scenery, safe and glow in the dark Trick/Treat items, and Halloween characters.
