WHY: In our continuing effort to enhance public safety while working with the business communities of  Los Angeles, the Police Department will be holding its annual LEAPS Conference.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Public and Private Partnership in the Prevention of Terrorism.”   The  conference is designed for first responders including Law Enforcement and Private Security, Security Directors, Risk Managers, Emergency Operation Personnel, and Building Managers.  The goal is to bring these groups together in a continuing effort to exchange and share information.
