"LAPD Hosts Annual Law Enforcement/Private Industry Security Conference"
 

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Chief of Police Martin Pomeroy and the Los Angeles Police Department, in partnership with over 30 private security partners is hosting the 2002 LEAPS (Law Enforcement and Private Security) Conference at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The Conference attendees will be addressed by Chief Pomeroy, City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo, District Attorney Steven Cooley, California Attorney General Bill Lockyer and former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerick. The Conference highlights ways that law enforcement agencies and private industry can work together for a safer community.
