WHERE: Davis Training Facility 12001 Blucher Avenue Granada Hills, CA 91344

WHO: LAPD Deputy Chief Michael Downing, Commanding Officer, Counter Terrorism Special Operations Bureau (C.T.S.O.B.)

WHY: The media will meet with Deputy Chief Downing, and be briefed at the LAPD Tactical Operations Center in Granada Hills. Counter assault training will be demonstrated. Due to the sensitivity of some of the tactical maneuvers, portions of the training exercise cannot be made public.
