LAPD Looking for Murder Suspects in Arlington Heights NR18005sr

Arlington Heights: The City of Los Angeles is offering a reward of $50,000 for information leading to the identity, arrest, and prosecution of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Lucio Garcia in Arlington Heights.

On Thursday, July 20, 2017, around 12:43 a.m., Los Angeles police officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 1600 block of Van Ness Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle on the roadway. The driver had been shot to death and a female passenger was seriously injured. There were two small children in the vehicle who were not injured.

The victims were parked at the location when a male Black approached their vehicle and fired numerous shots, striking the victims.

The suspect is described as a male Black, approximately 20-25 years of age. He was wearing a white t-shirt and last seen running southbound on Van Ness Avenue.
