“ Tip-A-Cop” Fund Raiser Event for Special Olympics

Los Angeles Police Department Central Area Captain Blake Chow
Central Area Senior Lead Officers

Why:
The Los Angeles Police Department, Special Olympics of Southern California, and Pete’s Cafe will team up in a “Tip-A-Cop” benefit event to raise money for the Special Olympic Games.

LAPD Officers will wait tables to earn extra tips.  All proceeds will directly benefit the Special Olympic Games.

“Police officers have an inherent desire to help others.  Our reach and influence does not extend to law enforcement.  Police officers of Central Area are waiting on customers as a way to help the Special Olympics continue to provide the important programs to the athletes. We are proud to be part of this support.” – Captain Chow
