LAPD partners with the LASD and the Viking Charities To Give Away Holiday Food Baskets to Needy Families

Why:    
LAPD Department personnel will volunteer their time to assist members of the Viking Charities assemble and hand-deliver over 1,500 holiday food packages and much needed staples to specifically identified families-in-need. Each basket contains a turkey and miscellaneous dinner items.

Viking Charities is a leading charity for disadvantaged children in Los Angeles County. Throughout the year, the Vikings Charities Organization and Stations within the Sheriff’s Department and the Los Angeles Police Department have joined forces in an attempt to make a  difference in the communities they serve.
