DETAILS:   
The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 23 officers.  Out of the 23 graduates, 21 will be sworn for the LAPD, one will be sworn for Los Angeles World Airports and one will be sworn for the Port of Los Angeles. Of the 21 LAPD officers, there are 19 males and two females with the following ethnic breakdown: nine Caucasians, 11 Hispanics and one Asian (non-Korean).  Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
