WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 7-15

WHEN: December 23, 2015 9 a.m.

WHERE: LAPD Administration Building Plaza 100 W. First Street Los Angeles 90012

WHO: LAPD Chief Charlie Beck Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff and Special Guests

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 42 officers. Out of the 42 graduates, 38 will be sworn for the LAPD, and four will be sworn for Los Angeles World Airports. Of the 38 LAPD graduates, there are 28 males and 10 females with the following ethnic breakdowns: 10 Caucasian, 21 Hispanic, three African Americans, three Asian (includes one Korean) and one Filipino. Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.

NOTE: Event parking will not be provided. Use of public transportation is encouraged whenever possible. For those who need parking, recommended paid parking lots are as follows:
