DETAILS:
The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 26 officers.  Out of the 26 graduates, 22 will be sworn for the LAPD, three will be sworn for Los Angeles World Airports police, and one will be sworn for the Los Angeles Port Police. Of the 22 LAPD officers, there are 18 males and four females with the following ethnic breakdown: five Caucasians, 14 Hispanics two Asians (non-Korean) and one Filipino.  Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
