DETAILS:
The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 24 officers.  Out of the 24 graduates, 18 will be sworn for the LAPD, four will be sworn for Los Angeles World Airports police and two will be sworn for the University of Southern California Department of Public Safety. Of the 24 officers, there are 22 males and two females with the following ethnic breakdown: eight Caucasians, 13 Hispanics, two Asians (non-Korean) and one Filipino.  Graduating officers have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
