UPDATE August 30, 2017 Out of the 33 graduates, 1 was a prior LAPD Cadet and 14 attended the LAPD Candidate Advancement Program.

WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 3-17

WHEN: Friday, September 1, 2017 8 a.m.

WHERE: Los Angeles Police Academy- Elysian Park 1880 North Academy Drive Los Angeles 90012

WHO: Los Angeles Police Department Chief Charlie Beck Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff and Special Guests

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Department will graduate 33 Police Officers. Of the 33 graduates, there are 27 males and 6 females with the following ethnic breakdowns: 4 Caucasian, 19 Hispanic, 3 Black, and 6 Asian, 1 Filipino.

In addition to LAPD, 2 Los Angeles World Airport Police Officer will be graduating.

Graduating officers will have completed 920 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.
