WHAT: Los Angeles Police Department Recruit Officer Graduation Ceremony for Class 10A-18.

WHEN: Friday, March 15, 2019 9 a.m.

WHERE: Elysian Park Academy 1880 North Academy Drive Los Angeles 90012

WHO: LAPD Chief Michel Moore Representatives from the LAPD Board of Commissioners Representatives from the Mayor’s Office LAPD Command Staff and Special Guests

DETAILS: The Los Angeles Police Academy will graduate 29 officers. Of the 29 LAPD officers, there are 22 males and 7 females with the following ethnic breakdown: 7 Caucasians, 16 Hispanics, 4 African-American, and 2 Asians.

In addition to LAPD, 1 Los Angeles Port Police Officer and 2 City of Bell Police officers will also be graduating. The graduating officers will have completed 912 hours of training over the course of 24 weeks.

It is anticipated that over 500 guests will attend the graduation ceremony and Chief Michel Moore, will inspect the class.
