San Fernando Valley: On Friday, October 5, 2001 commencing at 6:00 p.m., thirty motorcycle officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division will hit the streets of Panorama City and other San Fernando Valley areas to combat driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Everyone needs to do what is within their power to reduce this problem," said Captain Greg Meyer, Commanding Officer, Valley Traffic Division.
There will also be a photo and interview opportunity at Van Nuys station tonight at 6:00 p.m. (on Tyrone just north of Delano, behind Van Nuys Police Station.)
