Local Meat Market Robbery Caught on Video NR18024ti

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles
Police Department’s Newton Area Robbery Detectives are seeking the
public’s help on identifying 2-armed robbery suspects whose images
were caught on surveillance video.

On December 23, 2017, around 8:30 p.m., an armed robbery occurred
at a neighborhood meat market located in the 5400 block of Central
Avenue.

The suspects entered the meat market and pointed guns at the
victims. Suspects demanded the money from cash register along with
the victim’s property. During the robbery one of the suspects
struck one of the victims on the head with his handgun. Victims in
fear for their lives complied with the suspects demands.

The suspects fled with money, southbound on Central Avenue in a
light colored 4-door vehicle.

Suspect-1 is described as a 30 to 35-year-old male Black, stands
approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 170 pounds,
with black hair, brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a
light-colored sweatshirt with a red hood, a black bandana covering
the lower portion of his face, white gloves, an orange safety
reflective vest, dark pants, carrying a black handgun and a
dark-colored shoulder bag.

Suspect-2 is described as a 30 to 35-year-old male Black, stands
approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 170 pounds,
with black hair, brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black
sweatshirt, white gloves, a dark-colored baseball hat with an “A”
on the front, dark pants, an orange safety reflective vest with the
letters “FTZ” or “FIZ” written on the back and carrying a black
handgun.
