WHY:
The LAPD Centurion Football Team will play the LASD Grizzlies in a charity football game “911 Bowl Stars vs. Shields”, sponsored by Harvard Westlake High School. The Centurions are a non-profit organization, playing charity tackle football around the country against other law enforcement teams and public safety agencies. The Centurions have been playing football for charity for over 40 years. During that time, they have donated over $500,000.00 to their charity, the Blind Children’s Center of Los Angeles.

The Centurions are members of the National Public Safety Football League, which is made up of multiple law enforcement and public safety agencies around the nation.
