WHY:
On Thursday, May 25, 2023, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Metropolitan Division K9 Platoon, will host a memorial dedication in honor of the police service dogs (K-9) who were killed in the line of duty.
During the ceremony and press conference, a bronze statue will be unveiled and officially dedicated to the four K-9s who made the ultimate sacrifice. At the conclusion of the program, numerous K-9s and their handlers will perform a live demonstration and will be available for interviews.
