WHERE: Los Angeles Police Headquarters Facility 100 West First Street (Compstat Room) Los Angeles, CA 90012

WHO: Los Angeles Police Officers Los Angeles Police Department Cadets GoBe Volunteers Members of the Los Angeles Interfaith Clergy Council Member of Churches -in-Action

WHY: To provide basic living essentials to members of the homeless population who have been placed in permanent housing. “When our homeless neighbors finally get off the waitlist and into their own apartment, the only belongings they have to furnish their new apartment with, is what they could physically carry into a shelter. The Welcome Home Kits include pots, pans, pillows, blankets, kitchen utensils and other essential household necessities required to live in an empty apartment, ultimately, turning their new house into a home.” Said Lindsey Gonzales, Director of GoBe.
