DUI Checkpoint from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Pacific Avenue and 1st Street

Saturday, May 3
DUI Checkpoint from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Osborne Street and Golden State Freeway

Sunday, May 4
DUI Saturation Patrol from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Foothill Area
DUI Checkpoint from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Figueroa Street and 75th Street

Monday, May 5
DUI Saturation Patrol from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the Central Area
DUI Checkpoint from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Sherman Way and Independence Avenue

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) encourages the public to celebrate Cinco de Mayo responsibly by planning ahead and designating a sober driver. The LAPD reminds the community that alcohol is not the only substance that can cause impairment. Prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, cannabis products and other drugs may also cause impairment. If you plan on drinking or taking medications with a driving warning label, let someone who is sober drive. If you see someone who appears to be driving while impaired, call 9-1-1.
