Mail Theft Burglary Suspect wanted in Koreatown NR16039TI

Koreatown: Suspect targets
Koreatown community members by stealing their mail and their
identity.

On February 1, 2016 at 3:10 a.m., a residential burglary was
committed in 400 block of Harvard Boulevard in Koreatown. The
suspect entered the apartment complex and used a screw driver to
pry open the mailboxes. The suspect pried open and selected
envelopes from approximately 20 mailboxes and concealed the mail in
a shoulder bag.

The Los Angeles Police Department and Olympic Area Burglary
detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any
information that would lead to the arrest and identification of
residential burglary suspect in the Korea town area.

Suspect is described as a male Black, 20-years- old, short hair,
stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 160 lbs. The suspect
was wearing a black jacket, dark pants, and black tennis
shoes.
