Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department are investigating the shooting death of a 22-year-old Los Angeles man.
On October 15, 2007, at about 5:50 p.m., Moises Enrique Arias was riding his bicycle in the 2800 block of South Bronson Avenue. A black vehicle possibly an Acura, with numerous occupants inside, drove up to Arias.
The occupants began challenging Arias, asking him where he was from. One of the occupants, described only as a male Black, got out of the vehicle and began running after Arias, shooting him multiple times.
Arias collapsed in the street from his injuries. Paramedics were called and Arias was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motive for this shooting is believed to be gang related.
