Man Found Dead in North Hills NR15341dm

North Hills: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Mission Division Homicide Unit are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person or persons responsible for a man’s death.

On October 1, 2015, the body of a deceased man was discovered in an apartment in the 8500 block of Columbus Ave, after neighbors reported a foul smell.

Personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the call for service and determined that the man had died several days earlier. The victim is described as a male Hispanic, and his identity is yet to be established.

Further investigation has led detectives to form the opinion that the victim was murdered. Homicide detectives assigned to Mission Division are currently investigating. The cause of death and motive have not been determined.
