Los Angeles: Southeast Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help with any information about a murder that occurred in the intersection of 106th Street and Grand Avenue on Saturday, May 7, 2005.
According to detectives, residents in the area heard a single gunshot at about 6:30 a.m. The victim was found shot to death inside a teal colored van in front of 10609 S. Grand Avenue at about 8:10 a.m.
The victim, identified as Sabas Martinez, was described as a 26 year-old male Hispanic.
The Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
There is no suspect information at this time and the motive is unknown.
