Man Killed in Traffic Collision NR21262ll

Pacoima: On September 26, 2021, around 8:35 p.m., a red Dodge Charger was traveling southbound Laurel Canyon when it collided with a white Toyota pickup that was negotiating a right turn onto Laurel Canyon from eastbound Mercer Street. The force of the collision caused the Dodge Charger to go in a southeast direction colliding with the curb, wall, and private property. There were three juvenile passengers inside the red Charger and one occupant inside the white pickup.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and transported all occupants inside the Charger to local hospitals with moderate injuries. The driver of the pickup, a 45-year-old male, was pronounced at scene. His identify is being withheld pending next of kin notification.

The driver of the Dodge Charger was driving under the influence, she has been identified as 21-year-old Alison Villanueva from Pacoima. She will be arrested for Felony Child Endangerment and DUI upon being released from the hospital.
