Press Conference Requesting the Publics’ Help in the Homicide Investigation of Robert Demond Guillory.

Los Angeles: On Saturday, February 16, 2002, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Robert Demond Guillory was alone, driving his vehicle in the area of Stocker Street and Crenshaw Boulevard. Two male Blacks, and one female Black, drove alongside Mr. Gillory’s vehicle in a 1995-96, Silver, 4-door Honda and accused him of being a gang member. One of the suspects in the Honda, armed with a handgun, shot and wounded Mr. Guillory.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene of the shooting and transported Mr. Guillory to a local hospital, where he died as the result of gunshot wounds.
The suspects fled the scene immediately after the shooting and have not been arrested.
Robert Guillory was not affiliated with gangs.
On February 19, 2002 at 11:00 A.M., a press conference will be held at the International House of Pancakes, located at 3625 West Stocker Street, in Los Angeles. The purpose for the conference is to request the public’s help with information leading to the identification and the whereabouts of the suspects responsible for this crime.
