Man Severely Injured at the scene of a Traffic Collision

Los Angeles: LAPD detectives are looking for an attempt murder suspect who ran over a man at the scene of a minor traffic accident.

On Tuesday May 02, 2006 at about 7:00 a.m., officers from Devonshire Area were dispatched to the scene of an accident at Rinaldi Street and Amigo Avenue in the city of Northridge. When they arrived, witnesses at the location told them that the victim was involved in a minor traffic accident. The victim got out of his car to exchange information with the other driver. Instead of providing information, the driver of the second car got back into her car and accelerated towards the victim.

The victim landed on the hood of her car and was carried into the middle of the intersection. He fell to the ground when she slammed on her brakes and was run over as she drove away from the location.

Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where he was treated for multiple traumatic injuries.

The suspect is described as a female Black, about 30 to 40 years old, driving a 2004-2005 Gray Honda Civic. A photo of a car similar to that driven by the suspect is available by email request.
