Man Shot And Killed In Broad Daylight

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Area Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting incident that led to the death of Daniel Arzola, 23 years of age.
On Saturday morning, February 14, 2004, at about 11:50 a.m., Mr. Arzola was shot as he was getting into his car, a 1999 Hyundai Elantra, which was parked in front of 1242 West Manchester Avenue. A gunman walked up to Mr. Arzola and shot him with an unknown type handgun. The gunman ran away after the shooting.
Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and took Mr. Arzola to Martin Luther King Jr. Hospital, where he died.
The motive is unknown. The gunman was described as a Hispanic man in his 20’s with shaved head, stocky build and possibly has a thin mustache.
