Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of a suspect, or suspects, responsible for killing a man.
On Monday, October 15, 2018, around 11:30 p.m., Olympic Division officers responded to a radio call of a shooting at 21st Street and Manhattan Place in the City of Los Angeles. Upon their arrival, officers were flagged down by citizens who directed them to a male adult victim on the sidewalk. The victim was unresponsive and had suffered an apparent gunshot wound.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at scene.
The suspect vehicle is a possible light-colored sedan, seen leaving northbound from the area. There is no suspect description. The circumstances and motive for this homicide are unknown.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
