"Man Shot In Drive-Through Lane Of Fast Food Restaurant"
 

Los Angeles: On Saturday December 13, 2003 at approximately 8:06 a.m., Devonshire Area Patrol Officers responded to a shots fired investigation at 9860 Sepulveda Boulevard. Officers and Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics discovered a male victim was seated inside his pick-up while waiting in the drive-through lane of a fast food restaurant. A lone male gunman approached the victim’s vehicle and fired multiple rounds into the passenger compartment, striking the victim several times. The suspect was last seen running eastbound on Lassen Street.
The victim was transported to Holy Cross Hospital where he remained in extremely critical condition, but unfortunately he died from his injuries shortly after 5:00 p.m. The victim has been identified as Sergio Ernesto Reyes, a 31 year old resident of North Hills.
