"Man Shot in His Home By Two Male Black Suspects"

Los Angeles – On Sunday, August 6, 2000, at approximately 1:30 A.M, two suspects, described only as male Blacks, went to a residence located on the 9400 block of Cherokee Lane looking for a man. Apparently the suspects knew the victim and had gone to the house specifically to find him. The suspects asked for the victim by name and when the victim went to the door, one of the suspects struck him with a handgun or shotgun. One of the suspects then shot the victim in the hip. The suspects fled in an unknown direction immediately following the shooting.

The motive for the shooting has not yet been established and the suspects have been described as two male blacks.
