Man Shot to Death in Harbor City NR15230ml

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man dead in Harbor City.

On Thursday, July 2, 2015, at about 6:15 p.m., the victim, a male Hispanic in his 20’s, left his girlfriend’s house and began to walk eastbound through the alley behind 1100 block of West 253rd Street in Harbor City. An unknown suspect(s) approached the victim, shot him several times with an unknown caliber handgun and fled in unknown direction.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene. The circumstances and motive for this homicide are still under investigation.
