Man Shot to Death While Walking Down the Street

Los Angeles: On Tuesday, August 5, 2003, at about 11:45 p.m., a 40 year-old male Black, was walking in the area of Colden and Figueroa Streets. Two male Black suspects approached the victim in a white Cadillac Escalade. The vehicle parked and a lone suspect exited the vehicle and approached the victim. The suspect fired numerous bullets at the victim striking him several times. The suspect fled to the waiting vehicle.
Los Angeles City Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to Martin Luther King Hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
The motive for the shooting and the identities of the suspects are unknown at this time. The identity of the victim is also unknown at this time.
