Man Shot While Sitting in Car

Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police detectives are investigating the shooting death of Traveon Jackson, 21, who was shot and killed early Saturday morning while sitting in his car.
The shooting happened May 13, 2006, around 3:00 a.m., in the 600 block of West Roscrans Avenue. A gunman in a White Chevy Tahoe pulled along side Jackson, yelled obscenities and fired several shots at him.
Jackson’s companions drove him to Gardena Memorial Hospital where he later died.
The incident is gang related.
Investigators have few leads and are asking for the public’s help.
