General Media Parking
Limited parking space is available to the media immediately west of the Crenshaw Christian Center Gymnasium.  MRS staff will direct media to the parking area.  Media arriving after 8 a.m. will have to find parking off site and check in at the campus entrance on Vermont Avenue and walk to the Faith Dome. Media should expect that Vermont Avenue could be closed at any time after 7 a.m.
Media Area
The Los Angeles Police Department is working with the Radio and Television News Association (RTNA) to identify a pool camera.  Faith Dome staff  will provide a feed of the service to the pool camera, which will then be responsible for providing the feed to broadcast media outlets located in the media parking area.  No broadcast media cameras will be allowed inside the Faith Dome during the service.  However, the Garner family has agreed to a reserved seating area located to the right of the entrance for still photographers and reporters inside the Faith Dome.  Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Media will be required to wear their LAPD or Sheriff Media Credentials or media outlet ID.

A media staging area will also be located in front and slightly to the south of the entrance to the worship facility.  MRS personnel will be at the location to provide updates and assist with media needs.

Media/Police Briefing
At approximately 8:45 a.m., Public Information Director Mary Grady will conduct a briefing with media personnel planning to attend the service inside the Faith Dome to detail seating and still photography guidelines.  The briefing will take place in the media parking area.
